Vision:

By 2015, MIMIT will have brought about a transformational change in the number and quality of innovative technology developments arising through academic, clinical, technology transfer, industry and public partnership to address unmet healthcare needs.

Focus:

The primary focus of MIMIT is on unmet clinical need in relation to diagnostics, safety, prevention and restoring or improving health.

Priorities:

MIMIT is focussed on technology developments that will have maximum impact, are minimally invasive, will create sustainable and integrated solutions for healthcare and that draw upon the excellent academic biomedical/engineering expertise, innovative potential and infrastructure in MIMIT and CIMIT® partner organisations.

Strategic Aim:

To broaden the scope and accelerate the development and uptake of new healthcare technologies and enable them to benefit patient care faster and more effectively.
