MIMIT collaboration with The Edward Centre

MIMIT has recently embarked on collaborations with Yuan Zhen UK Investment Ltd (www.yuanzhen.co.uk) and its associated subsidiary research unit: The Edward Centre for Health Care and Research. The Edward Centre founded in 2010 is a not for profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the elderly through innovative studies focused on senior health care and well being with a focus on long term care homes and other relevant areas. Professor Oldham, Director of MIMIT has recently been appointed Honorary Director of the Edward Centre and will be helping shape strategies for research development. As a for runner to wider activity the Edward Centre is working in collaboration with MIMIT and TrusTECH (the Northwest of England Innovation hub) to develop an innovative Eldercare Management System (EMS) for the 21st century eldercare management.
