One of MIMIT’s most exciting projects has been to address the problem of female urinary incontinence. MIMIT and the University of Manchester have developed a revolutionary electro-stimulation technology that has been developed by Femeda Ltd into a ground-breaking treatment for female urinary incontinence. Research studies have proved the effectiveness of this treatment and now this technology is being evaluated in a real world setting and women living in South Manchester can participate in this exciting opportunity!
The study is now recruiting women who are registered with a GP practice in Withington, Didsbury, Chorlton Park, Burnage or Wythenshawe, with a site in Prestwich coming soon.
